OBANZAI

“おばんざい” (obanzai) refers to a style of home cooking that originated in Kyoto, Japan.
It usually consists of a variety of small, simple and flavorful dishes made with seasonal ingredients. These dishes often feature vegetables, tofu, fish, and vegetables, with an emphasis on healthy, balanced flavors.
At Our hotel, in addition to the main course, this obanzai is served on a large platter.
Customers who order a course meal are welcome to eat as much as they like (some plans are not covered by this, so please contact us).

In English, obanzai can be described as a traditional Kyoto-style home-cooked meal featuring a variety of small, seasonal dishes, often emphasizing local and fresh ingredients, with a focus on simplicity and balance. It's similar to what might be considered "comfort food" in Japan, but with an emphasis on seasonal and wholesome ingredients.
